Transport Operations (Road Use Management—Vehicle Registration) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2012 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Transport Operations (Road Use Management—Vehicle Registration) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2012 . 2 Commencement (1) Subject to subsection (2), this regulation commences on 1 July 2012. (2) Section 7 commences immediately after the commencement of the TransportLegislation(Fees)AmendmentRegulation(No. 1) 2012 , section 34. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Transport Operations (Road Use Management—Vehicle Registration) Regulation 2010. 4 Amendment of s 20 (Registered operator to notify change of particulars) Section 20(1), ‘or the garage address of the vehicle,’— omit, insert— ‘or the garage address or purpose of use of the vehicle,’. 5 Amendment of s 21 (Recording change in vehicle particulars and reassessment of registration fee) (1) Section 21(1)(a), ‘address or’— omit , insert— ‘address, purpose of use or other’. (2) Section 21(3)— omit, insert — ‘(3) Also, if the particulars are for a change to a vehicle’s purpose of use or the modification of a vehicle under section 20(5), the chief executive may reassess the registration fee payable for Page 2 2012 SL No. 56
