Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2009 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2009 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Regulation 2005. 3 Amendment of s 136 (Services excluded from passenger services—Act, sch 3, def public passenger service ) (1) Section 136(1)(a), ‘the Queensland Ambulance Service,’— omit. (2) Section 136(1)— insert— ‘(ab) a service provided by an ambulance service;’. (3) Section 136(1)(a) to (f)— renumber as section 136(1)(a) to (g). (4) Section 136(4)— omit, insert— ‘(4) In this section— ambulance service means— (a) the Queensland Ambulance Service established under the Ambulance Service Act 1991 ; or (b) the Ambulance Service of NSW established under the Health Services Act 1997(NSW); or (c) the SA Ambulance Service Inc established under the Health Care Act 2008(SA); or (d) an approved ambulance service within the meaning of the Mental Health and Related Services Act(NT).’. Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2009 [s 4] 4 Amendment of sch 2A (Taxi service areas for taxi industry security levy) Schedule 2A— insert— ‘Ipswich Mackay Rockhampton Toowoomba’. 5 Amendment of sch 4 (Vehicles that are luxury motor vehicles) Schedule 4, entry for Category G— omit, insert— ‘Category G a stretched version of a passenger vehicle of any of the following makes— • Ford G6E • Ford Territory • Hummer H2 • Hummer H3 12 years from the date of manufacture’.
