s1 2 s4 Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Exemption (No. 21) No. 333, 1996 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Exemption Regulation (No. 21) 1996 . ˙ Definitions 2. In this regulation— “course” means the course over the waters of the Atkinsons Lagoon shown in red on the course map. “course map” means the map marked ‘Schedule A’ and designated ‘project 1.3.8-2-31’, prepared by the department and held at its Brisbane office. 1 “event” means the water ski races conducted by the Queensland Ski Racing Association on 17 November 1996, over the course. “participant” , in the event, includes a genuine competitor, marshal, safety official or other person involved in conducting the event. ˙ Exemption 3 . A participant operating a ship in, or in connection with, the event is exempted from the TransportOperations(MarineSafety)Regulation 1995 , sections 95(2) and 99. 2 ˙ Expiry 4.
