s1 2 s4 Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Exemption (No. 2) No. 113, 1996 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Exemption Regulation (No. 2) 1996 . ˙ Definitions 2. In this regulation— “course” means the course over the waters of parts of the Brisbane and Southport pilotage areas shown in red on the course map. “course map” means the map marked ‘Schedule A’ prepared by the department on 13 May 1996 and held at its Brisbane office. 1 “event” means the 26th Annual Gold Coast Ski Classic to be conducted by the Queensland Water Ski Association ACN 009 809 625 on 9 June 1996 over the course. “participant” , in the event, includes a genuine competitor, marshal, safety official or other person involved in conducting the event. ˙ Exemption 3 . A participant operating a ship in, or in connection with, the event is exempted from the TransportOperations(MarineSafety)Regulation1995 , sections 95(2) and 99. ˙ Expiry 4.
