s1 2 s4 Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Exemption (No. 13) No. 315, 1996 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Exemption Regulation (No. 13) 1996 . ˙ Definitions 2. In this regulation— “course” means the course over the waters of the Mooloolah River shown in red on the course map. “course map” means the map marked ‘Schedule A’ prepared by the department in October 1996 and held at its Brisbane office. 1 “event” means the Formula Two, Powerduck and Junior Powerboat Grand Prix with Formula One demonstration to be conducted by the Australian Formula One Powerboat Grand Prix Pty Ltd, ACN 072 875408, on 15, 16 and 17 November 1996 over the course. “participant” in the event, includes a genuine competitor, marshall, safety official or other person involved in conducting the event. ˙ Exemption 3. A participant operating a ship in, or in connection with, the event is exempted from the TransportOperations(MarineSafety)Regulation1995 , sections 95(2) and 99. 2 ˙ Expiry 4.
