s1 2 s4 Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Amendment No. 114, 2007 Regulation (No. 3) 2007 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2007 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 15 June 2007. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Regulation 2004. 4 Amendment of s 84 (Application of Act, pt 5, div 3) (1) Section 84(2)(g) and (ga)— omit, insert— ‘(g) a commercial ship to which a standard about hired ships applies, if the ship is being operated and used in accordance with the standard; ‘(ga) a tender to a ship mentioned in paragraph (g), if the tender— (i) is not powered; or (ii) is powered by an engine of 4.5kW or less;’. (2) Section 84(3)— omit . (3) Section 84(4), definitions hire and drive ship and point of hire — omit. (4) Section 84(4)— renumber as section 84(3).
