s1 2 s4 Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Amendment No. 71, 2003 Regulation (No. 1) 2003 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2003 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the TransportOperations(MarineSafety)Regulation 1995. 3 Amendment of s 187 (Refund of fees on surrender of ship’s registration) Section 187(3)— omit, insert— ‘ (3) The refund is to be worked out on a proportional basis according to the number of whole days from the end of the day when the registration was surrendered to the beginning of the day when the ship’s registration would have otherwise expired.’. 4 Amendment of sch 7 (Fees) Schedule 7, section 6— insert— ‘ (3) A fee is not payable under subsection (2)(c) if the ship is being transferred to a person whose business is the sale of new or used ships.’.
