Transport Legislation (Road Safety and Other Matters) Amendment (Postponement) Regulation 2020 (Qld)

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Transport Legislation (Road Safety and Other Matters) Amendment (Postponement) Regulation 2020.

2   Postponed commencement of uncommenced provisions

(1)The period before automatic commencement, under the Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 15DA(2), of the postponed law is extended to the end of 9 September 2021.

(2)In this section—

postponed law means the uncommenced provisions of the Transport Legislation (Road Safety and Other Matters) Amendment Act 2019.

Editor’s note—

The postponed law now automatically commences on 10 September 2021.

3   Expiry

This regulation expires on 11 September 2021.
