s1 2 s4 Transport Legislation Amendment (No. 1) No. 170, 1998 PART 1—PRELIMINARY ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Transport Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1998 . PART 2—AMENDMENT OF TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE REGULATION 1995 ˙ Regulation amended in pt 2 2. This part amends the Transport Infrastructure Regulation 1995 . ˙ Insertion of new s 3 3. After section 2— insert— ˙ ‘ Continuation of operation of Act, s 235 ‘ 3. The operation of section 235 of the Act (other than subsection (1)) is extended past the time it would otherwise expire until 30 June 1999.’. PART 3—AMENDMENT OF TRANSPORT OPERATIONS (ROAD USE MANAGEMENT) REGULATION 1995 ˙ Regulation amended in pt 3 4. This part amends the Transport Operations (Road Use Management)Regulation 1995 .

After part 5— insert — ‘ PART 6—MISCELLANEOUS ˙ ‘ Subordinate legislation continuing to have effect—Act, s 93 ‘ 63. All subordinate legislation made under the following Acts continue to have effect under the Act past the time they would otherwise cease to have effect until 30 June 1999— (a) Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Act 1984 ; (b) Motor Vehicles Control Act 1975 ; (c) Motor Vehicles Safety Act 1980 ; (d) State Transport Act 1960 ; (e) Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Act 1991 .’.
