Transport Legislation Amendment (Postponement) Regulation (No. 1) 2008 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Transport Legislation Amendment (Postponement) Regulation (No. 1) 2008 . 2 Postponed commencement of particular uncommenced provisions (1) The period before automatic commencement under the ActsInterpretationAct1954 , section 15DA(2) of the postponed law is extended to the end of 25 October 2010. (2) In this section— postponed law means the following provisions of the Transport Legislation Amendment Act 2007— • sections 19 and 20 • section 26 • section 29, to the extent it inserts sections 87B to 87D • section 31 • section 32(2), to the extent it inserts the definitions electronic booking system, peak demand management plan, peak demand taxi, peak demand taxi permit and peak patronage period • section 32(3). Editor’s note — The postponed law now automatically commences on 26 October 2010. 3 Expiry This regulation expires on 27 October 2010.
