2 Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Amendment (No. 2) No. 268, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Regulation 1991 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Amendment of s.3.07 (Checking sites) 3.(1) Section 3.07(2)— omit, insert— ‘(2) The driver must ensure that the vehicle remains at the checking site for as long as is necessary to weigh the vehicle and its load (if any). ’. (2) Section 3.07(3)(a)— omit, insert— ‘ (a) stop the vehicle when the requirement to do so is indicated in an appropriate way, including by the display of a sign; and ’. ˙ Amendment of s.4.11 (Attachment of registration labels) 4. Section 4.11(1) (after ‘ to the vehicle ’ )— insert— ‘ , in the way required by subsections (2) and (3), ’. ˙ Replacement of s.4.25 (Attachment of dealer’s plates) 5. Section 4.25— omit, insert— ˙ ‘Attachment of dealer’s plates ‘4.25(1) A dealer or person to whom a dealer’s plate has been issued must ensure that the plate is attached to a vehicle as required by

3 Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Amendment (No. 2) No. 268, 1993 subsection (2). ‘(2) A dealer’s plate must be attached to a vehicle in the location set out in Column 3 of Schedule 2 so that it is clearly visible at the distance from the vehicle set out in Column 4 of the Schedule. ’. ˙ Amendment of s.5.05 (Powers of authorised officers) 6. After section 5.05(5)— insert— ‘(6) An owner or person to whom an authorised officer makes a requirement under this section must comply with the requirement. ’. ˙ Replacement of Schedule 3 (Penalties) 7.
