2 Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Amendment (No. 1) No. 19, 1994 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1994 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Regulation 1991 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Amendment of s 1.02 (Definitions) 3.(1) Section 1.02 (definitions “B-Double” and “road train” )— omit . (2) Section 1.02— insert— ‘ “B-Double” has the meaning given by the Traffic Act 1949 ; “dual tyre” means 2 tyres secured together by their wheel rims at 1 end of an axle; “road train” has the meaning given by the Traffic Act 1949 ; ’. ˙ Amendment of s 3.03 (Axle mass) 4.(1) Section 3.03, Table, Part A, items 2 and 3— omit ‘ or 4 or more single tyres ’, insert ‘ or with 4 or more tyres (however configured) ’. (2) Section 3.03, Table, Part A, items 5(a), 6 and 13 (after ‘dual tyres’)— insert ‘ or with 4 or more tyres (however configured) ’. (3) Section 3.03, Table, Part A, item 11— omit, insert— ‘11. Triaxle group with a load sharing system, if each axle is fitted with dual tyres, 4 or more tyres (however configured), or wide profile tyres . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 20.0 ’.
