2 Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Amendment (No. 1) No. 138, 1992 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1992 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 1 July 1992. ˙ Amended regulation 3. The Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Regulation 1991 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Replacement of Schedule 1 (Fees) 4. Schedule 1— omit, insert— ‘SCHEDULE 1 ´ ‘FEES section 1.04 ´ ‘PART 1 ‘Vehicle Registration Fees for a 12 month period (Fees for a greater or lesser period to be adjusted accordingly) ‘1. Passenger car— (a) 1, 2 or 3 cylinders, electric or steam (b) 4 cylinders or 2 rotors $110.90 $141.90

Commercial vehicle— (a) RGVM not exceeding 4 t (b) RGVM exceeding 4 t ‘3. Truck tractor, prime mover, B-Double or road train— (a) RGCM not exceeding 6.67 t (b) RGCM exceeding 6.67 t but not exceeding 7 t (c) RGCM exceeding 7 t but not exceeding 24 t (d) RGCM exceeding 24 t but not exceeding 41 t (e) RGCM exceeding 41 t but not exceeding 42.5 t (f) RGCM exceeding 42.5 t ‘4. Motorised caravan or bus— (a) RGVM not exceeding 4 t (b) RGVM exceeding 4 t ‘5. Trailer or caravan— (a) loaded mass not exceeding 1.02 t (b) loaded mass exceeding 1.02 t with tare— (i) not exceeding 5 t (ii) exceeding 5 t $40.70 $45.80 $41.20 $81.40 $266.50 ´ ‘PART 2 ‘Concessional Vehicle Registration Fees for a 12 month period ‘1. Ambulance $36.60 ‘2. A motor vehicle with a load capacity exceeding 4 t owned by a primary producer and used only in that person’s business as a primary producer 25% of the fee calculated under Part 1 ‘3. A vehicle owned by a primary producer used only in that person’s business as a primary producer subject to terms and conditions that may be imposed by the Corporation limiting the distance and roads on which the vehicle may be used $37.60 ‘4. 1 motor vehicle (other than a motorcycle or mobile machinery or equipment) registered in the name of a holder of a Queensland 50% of the fee calculated under Part 1
5 Transport Infrastructure (Roads) Amendment (No. 1) No. 138, 1992 Government Seniors Card, in circumstances determined in writing by the Corporation ‘5. A motor vehicle (other than a commercial vehicle, motorised caravan or bus each with a RGVM or RGCM exceeding 4 t or mobile machinery or equipment), in circumstances determined in writing by the Corporation ‘6. A commercial vehicle, motorised caravan or bus each with a RGVM or RGCM exceeding 4 t or mobile machinery or equipment, in circumstances determined in writing by the Corporation $36.60 an amount— (a) 25% of the fee calculated under Part 1; or (b) $36.60; whichever is the greater ´ ‘PART 3 ‘Plate fees ‘1. Issue of— (a) ordinary personalised number plates (b) traditional personalised number plates (c) prestige personalised number plates (d) a dealer’s plate (e) any other number plate ‘2. Replacement of a number plate, or pair of number plates, bearing the same registration number as the replaced plate or plates $14.70 plus manufacturing costs ´ ‘PART 4 ‘Miscellaneous Fees ‘1. Transfer of registration ‘2. Transfer of personalised number plates ‘3. Issue of limited use permit ‘4. Issue of a certificate for limited use ‘5. Issue of a permit under section 3.06— (a) for a single trip (b) for a specified period ‘6. Supply of an extract from the register of vehicles by electronic tape exchange— (a) a full extract (b) an extract excluding— (i) the owner’s name and address; and (ii) the insurer of the vehicle under the Motor Vehicles Insurance Act 1936 (c) an extract excluding— (i) the owner’s name and $13.70 $50.90 $13.70 per day $37.60 $48.80 $185.10 $5.10 $2.00 plus computer run costs of $150.00 per hour and an administration fee of $100.00 per tape, irrespective of the number of extracts on a particular tape $1.00 plus computer run costs of $150.00 per hour and an

Surcharge for processing an application for registration for less than 1 year (other than an application for registration up to a common expiry date) $25.40 1 To determine the fee payable by a person for an extract supplied in a particular week the total number of extracts supplied in the week is taken to be the total number of extracts of any type supplied to the person in the week. 2 per extract if less than 50 extracts per week (Monday to Sunday) 3 per extract if 50 to 200 extracts per week (Monday to Sunday) 4 per extract if more than 200 extracts per week (Monday to Sunday) ’.
