The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) (Ticketing) Regulations 2017 to make an amendment following the commencement of the Transport Integration Amendment (Head, Transport for Victoria and Other Governance Reforms) Act 2017.

2Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 56, 221AA and 230AH of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983.

3Definitions and reference provisions

(1)In regulation 5(1) of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) (Ticketing) Regulations 2017[1], for the definition of V/Line conductor substitute

"V/Line conductor means a person employed by V/Line Corporation to perform duties as a conductor on trains operated by or on behalf of that company;".

(2)In regulation 5(1) of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) (Ticketing) Regulations 2017 insert the following definition—

"V/Line Corporation has the same meaning as in section 3 of the Transport Integration Act 2010.".
