Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) (Ticketing) Amendment (Electronic Testing of Tickets) Regulations 2018

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy, with the advice of the Executive Council, makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend who may electronically test or read tickets under the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) (Ticketing) Regulations 2017.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under

section 221AA of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983.

3Testing of ticket

In regulation 20 of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) (Ticketing) Regulations 2017[1], after "authorised person (ticketing) may" insert ", unless the authorised person (ticketing) is a protective services officer,".
