The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) (Infringements) Regulations 2019 to make consequential amendments arising from the enactment of the Transport Legislation Amendment Act 2023.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 215 of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 October 2024.

4Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) (Infringements) Regulations 2019[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

5Objectives

Regulation 1(a)(v) of the Principal Regulations is revoked.

6Table 8 in Schedule 3 revoked

Table 8 in Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations is revoked.
