Transport (Buses, Taxi-Cabs and Other Commercial Passenger Vehicles) (Taxi-Cab Industry Accreditation and Other Matters) and (Infringements) Amendment Regulations 2018

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to revoke regulations consequential to the commencement of the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Amendment (Further Reforms) Act 2017.

2Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 137E, 162, 169Z, 215, 228RZI and 256 of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on

2 July 2018.

4Revocations

The following Regulations are revoked—

(a)Transport (Buses, Taxi-Cabs and Other Commercial Passenger Vehicles) (Taxi-Cab Industry Accreditation and Other Matters) Regulations 2017[1];

(b)Transport (Buses, Taxi-Cabs and Other Commercial Passenger Vehicles)(Taxi-Cab Industry Accreditation and Other Matters) and (Infringements) Amendment Regulations 2017[2].

5Redundant items and tables revoked

Items 112 to 129, 140 and 141 of Table 7 and Table 8 in Schedule 3 to the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010[3] are revoked.
