Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to set out the full fare ($2.10) and concession fare ($1.05) that will apply to a single journey on the Stockton Ferry using an Opal smartcard. The same fare caps that apply when using the Opal smartcard on buses will apply when using the smartcard on the Stockton Ferry.
This Order is made under section 85 (2) of the Transport Administration Act 1988.

This Order is the Transport Administration (State Transit Authority—Fares)
Amendment (Opal Fares for Stockton Ferry) Order 2014.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on 21 November 2014 and is required to be published in the
Gazette.

3 Amendment of Transport Administration (State Transit Authority—Fares) Order 2010

(1) Clause 3 Fares

Insert “and ferry” after “bus” in clause 3 (3).

(2) Schedule 2, heading
Insert “and ferry” after “bus”.
(3) Schedule 2
Insert the following before the matter relating to fare caps:
Full fare Concession fare
Stockton Ferry $2.10 $1.05
