Amendment Order (No 2) 2014

I, Kieron Ritchard, the acting Chief Executive of NSW Trains, in pursuance of section 85 (1) of the Transport Administration Act 1988, make the following Order on behalf of NSW Trains.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to amend the Transport Administration (NSW Trains—Fares and Other Charges) Order 2013 to increase, on and from 4 January 2015, fares payable for single, return and periodical MyTrain tickets and MyMulti weekly and day pass tickets, and peak and off-peak fares when using the Opal smartcard on the NSW Trains services.
This Order also removes the fares for the Newcastle Green TravelPass weekly, quarterly and yearly tickets;
those tickets have not been available for purchase since 20 November 2014.
This Order is made under the Transport Administration Act 1988, including section 85 (1) (as applied to
NSW Trains by clause 40 of the Transport Administration (General) Regulation 2013).

Charges) Further Amendment Order (No 2) 2014.
2 Commencement
This Order commences on 4 January 2015 and is required to be published in the
Gazette.
