Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following
Regulation under the Transport Administration Act 1988.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Transport Administration (General) Regulation 2013 in relation to the management of Transport Cleaning Services (which is a public subsidiary corporation constituted for the purposes of RailCorp) and for law revision purposes.
This Regulation is made under the Transport Administration Act 1988, including section 55C.

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Transport Administration (General) Amendment (Transport
Cleaning Services) Regulation 2014.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 1 August 2014 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.

[1] Clauses 3 (definitions of “Chief Executive of NSW Trains”, “Chief Executive of Sydney Trains” and “traffic control officer”), 11 (3), 12 (1) and (2), 30 (4), 33 (3), 34 (1) and (2), 50 (4), 51C (3) and 51E (4) (a)
Omit “Director-General” wherever occurring. Insert instead “Transport Secretary”.
[2] Clause 3 Definitions
Omit “by the Chief Executive of RailCorp” from the definition of Executive Director of
Transport Cleaning Services.[3] Clause 3, paragraphs (d) and (e) of definition of “traffic control officer”
Omit “chief executive” wherever occurring. Insert instead “Chief Executive”.
[4] Clause 54 Executive Director of Transport Cleaning Services
Omit clause 54 (1). Insert instead:
(1) The Chief Executive of Sydney Trains may appoint a person as the Executive Director of Transport Cleaning Services. That person is to be employed in the Transport Service.
[5] Clause 54 (2)
Omit the subclause.
[6] Clause 54 (3)
Omit “the directions of the Chief Executive of RailCorp”.
Insert instead “any directions of the Chief Executive of Sydney Trains”.[7] Clause 91 Interpretation of references to Sydney Metro
Omit “Director-General” from clause 91 (d). Insert instead “Secretary”.
