Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Transport Administration (General) Regulation 2013 as a consequence of the commencement of the Transport Administration Amendment (Sydney Metro) Act 2018. The amendments relate to the control of traffic on land vested in Sydney Metro.
The amendments also omit a redundant clause relating to an earlier entity also called Sydney Metro. regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Transport Administration (General) Amendment (Sydney
Metro) Regulation 2018.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 1 July 2018 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.
3 Amendment of Transport Administration (General) Regulation 2013
(1) Clause 3 Definitions Insert at the end of paragraph (f) of the definition of relevant authority in clause 3 (1):

(g) Sydney Metro, in relation to Sydney Metro land.
(2) Clause 3 (1), definition of “Sydney Metro land” Insert in alphabetical order: Sydney Metro land means land vested in Sydney Metro.
(3) Clause 3 (1), definition of “traffic control officer” Insert at the end of paragraph (g): , or
(h)
a person or a member of a class of persons appointed in writing for the purposes of this definition by the Chief Executive of Sydney Metro, in relation to Sydney Metro land.
(4) Clauses 5–8 Insert “Sydney Metro land,” after “Sydney Trains land,” wherever occurring. (5) Clause 91 Interpretation of references to Sydney Metro Omit the clause.
