rY The object of this Regulation is to enable the Director-General of the Deparment of Transport to delegate his or her functions under Part 4 of the Transport Administration Act 1988 to officers of the Olympic Roads and Transport Authority. This Regulation is made under the Transport Administration Act 1988, including section 40.

This Regulation is the Transport Administrution (General)
Amendment (ORTA) Regulation 1999.
The Transport Administration (General) Regulation 1995 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.
The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

Omit the clause. Insert instead:
uthorised persons: section 40 The following classes of persons are prescribed for the purposes of section 40 of the Act:
(a) officers of the RTA, (b) officers of the Olympic Roads and Transport Authority.
