TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT 1988—ORDER

(Relating to the extension of family fares to certain services)

I, Lucio Di Bartolomeo, Chief Executive of the State Transit Authority, in pursuance of section 85 (2) of the Transport Administration Act 1988, make the Order set out hereunder.

1. This Order commences on 22 December 1995.

2. The Transport Administration (State Transit Authority—Fares)

Order 1991 is amended by omitting clause 6 (2).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Order is to extend the availability of family fares to the State Transit Authority’s premium services, tourist services, special (racecourse) services and JetCat services. The effect of this extension is that an adult accompanied by 2 or more children from the adult’s household is required to pay the fare for the journey in respect of those services for only one of those children (the other children are able to travel free of charge).
