TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT 1988 - REGULATION
(Relating to persons authorised to issue penalty notices

for certain transport offences)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Transport Administration Act 1988, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation takes effect on 12 February 1990.

Amendment

2. The Transport Administration (Penalty Notices) Regulation 1989 is amended by inserting after clause 4 (c) (x) the following subparagraph:

(xi) a person appointed in writing by the Chief Executive of the State Rail Authority (being a person appointed by name or as the holder from time to time of a particular office); or

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Transport Administration (Penalty Notices) Regulation 1989 so as to enable officers employed in the State Rail Authority Operations Division and nominated by the Chief Executive of the Authority to issue penalty notices for certain transport offences.
