Regulations 1998

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to provide that section 110(2) of the Act does not apply to the financial year commencing on 1 July 1998.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under sections 110 and 132 of the Transport Accident Act 1986.

3. Principal Regulations

In these Regulations the Transport Accident
(Charges) Regulations 19861 are called the
Principal Regulations.

4. Section 110(2) of the Act not to apply for 1998/99 financial year

For regulation 8 of the Principal Regulations substitute—

Transport Accident (Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 1998

"8. Section 110(2) of the Act not to apply for

1998/99 financial year

Section 110(2) of the Act does not apply in
respect of the financial year commencing on

1 July 1998.".
