Transfer of Land Act 1958

Transfer of Land (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2023

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Transfer of Land (Fees) Regulations 2016 to increase certain prescribed fees payable to the Registrar under the Transfer of Land Act 1958.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 120 of the Transfer of Land Act 1958.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2023.

4Prescribed fees—Schedule 1

In Schedule 1 to the Transfer of Land (Fees) Regulations 2016[1]—

(a)in Column 4 of item 14—

(i)for "$5.92" substitute "$6.15";

(ii)for "$8.74" substitute "$9.08";

(iii)for "$6.99" substitute "$7.26";

(b)in Column 4 of item 80—

(i)for "$5.98" substitute "$6.21";

(ii)for "$8.81" substitute "$9.16";

(iii)for "$7.35" substitute "$7.64";

(c)in Column 4 of item 80A—

(i)  for "$10.09" substitute "$10.49";

(ii)for "$12.57" substitute "$13.07";

(d)in Column 4 of item 81, for "$5.98" substitute "$6.21";

(e)in Column 4 of item 82—
