TRANSFER OF LAND.

AN ACT to amend the Transfer of Land Act, 1893.
[Assented to 24th September, 1925.]
BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byCouncil and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, inand with the advice and consent of the Legislative
this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of
the same, as follows:—
1. This Act may be cited as the Transfer of Land Act Short e.
Amendment Act, 1925, and shall be read as one with the Transfer of Land Act, 1893, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

7a. (1.) Any person qualified to be appointed Com- missioner of Titles may be appointed both Commissioner of Titles and Registrar of Titles, and may perform the duties and exercise the powers of both offices.
(2.) Any act, matter, or thing which is required by
this Act to be
| (a) | referred by the Registrar of Titles to the Com- |
missioner of Titles; or
| (b) | done or proceeded with or granted or refused by the Registrar of Titles by the direction or order or with the consent or approval of the Commissioner of Titles, or after the Commis- sioner of Titles has been satisfied of any facts- |

may be dealt with by a person appointed to both offices under this section without any reference, or on his own initiative or judgment, or pursuant to any order or direc- tion made or given by himself, as in the circumstances of the case may appear to be most convenient.
