This is the Trans-Tasman Proceedings Amendment (2016 Measures No. 1) Regulation 2016.

2Commencement

1. (1)

   Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Trans‑Tasman Proceedings Regulation 2012

Subregulation 9(2)

Repeal the subregulation, substitute:

1. (2)

   For paragraph 29(1)(c) of the Act, the following Australian tribunals are prescribed:

   1. (a)

      Administrative Appeals Tribunal (Commonwealth);

   2. (b)

      Trans‑Tasman IP Attorneys Disciplinary Tribunal (Commonwealth).

After paragraph 12(aa)

Insert:

1. (ab)

   Trans‑Tasman IP Attorneys Disciplinary Tribunal (Commonwealth);

Subregulation 13(2)

Repeal the subregulation, substitute:

   For paragraph 49(1)(c) of the Act, the following Australian tribunals are prescribed:

   1. (a)

      Administrative Appeals Tribunal (Commonwealth);

   2. (b)

      Trans‑Tasman IP Attorneys Disciplinary Tribunal (Commonwealth).
