Regulations under the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act

1Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (Temporary Exemption for Prohibited Plastic Bags) Regulations.

2Commencement

These Regulations commence on 1 September 2011.

3Temporary exemption for prohibited plastic bags

For section 46 of the Commonwealth Act, the Environment Protection (Beverage Containers and Plastic Bags) Act is, to the extent it relates to prohibited plastic bags, exempt from the operation of the Commonwealth Act.

4Expiry

These Regulations expire on 31 August 2012.
