AN ACT to amend the Tramways Act, 1885.

THIS Act may be cited as the Tramways Act Amendment Short title.

Tramways Act, 1885, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

WHENEVER by Provisional Order, made either before or after the passing of this Act, and duly confirmed by Act of	Promoter may sub-
stitute double lines

Parliament under the provisions of the principal Act, a promoter is empowered to construct tramways with single or double lines, he may, with the consent of the local authority, at any time substitute a double line of rails for a single line.

THE Promoter may, with the consent of the Local Authority, at any time make, lay clown, construct, maintain, and work all such
