Act No. 36, 1989

An Act to amend the Traffic Act 1909 in respect of penalty notices for certain offences. [Assented to 10 May 1989]

Traffic (Penalty Notices) Amendment 1989

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:

Short title

1,

This Act may be cited as the Traffic (Penalty Notices) Amendment

Act 1989.

Amendment of Traffic Act 1909 No. 5, sec. 18b (Penalty notices for certain offences)

2. The Traffic Act 1909 is amended by inserting after section 18b (1)

(b) the following paragraphs:

(c)

has committed any prescribed offence under the Transport Licensing Act 1931 or any regulation made under that Act;

(ca) has committed any prescribed offence under the Motor Vehicle Driving Instructors Act 1961 or any regulation made under that Act;

(cb) has committed any prescribed offence under the Motor Vehicles

Taxation Act 1988 or any regulation made under that Act;
