Traffic (Compliance and Enforcement) Amendment Regulations 2012
I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Traffic Act 1925 .27 August 2012

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Traffic (Compliance and Enforcement) Amendment Regulations 2012 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Amendment (Registration Labels) Regulations 2012 commences. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Traffic (Compliance and Enforcement) Regulations 2011 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Schedule 1 amended (Traffic infringement notice offences) Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by omitting " Taxi and Luxury Hire Car Industries Act 1995 " from the definition of TLHCIA in clause 1 of Part 1 and substituting " Taxi and Luxury Hire Car Industries Act 2008 "; (b) by omitting item 80 from Subdivision 2 of Division 2 of Part 2 and substituting the following: | 80. | RR 65(2)(a) | Fail to give way to any pedestrian on marked foot crossing with flashing yellow traffic light (other than at/near intersection) |

(a) to reflect minor changes in certain offences consequent on the commencement of the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Amendment (Registration Labels) Regulations 2012 ; and (b) by updating a legislative reference and effecting minor statute law revision.
