s1 8 s3 Traffic Amendment (No. 1) No. 18, 1995 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Traffic Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1995 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Traffic Regulation 1962 . ˙ Amendment of s 4 (Definitions) 3.(1) Section 4, words before definition “Abreast” — omit, insert— ‘ Definitions ‘ 4. In this regulation—’. (2) Section 4, definitions “Chief Inspector of Motor Vehicles” , “Safety zone” , “Semi-trailer” and “taxi” — omit. (3) Section 4— insert— ‘ “drive” includes— (a) for a vehicle or animal—stand; or (b) for an animal—lead. “on” means “upon” . “State” includes a Territory. “taxi” means a taxi within the meaning of the TransportOperations(Passenger Transport) Act 1994 .’. (4) Section 4, definition “angle parking” , ‘direction or’— omit. (5) Section 4, definition “excess dimension permission” , ‘District Superintendent’— omit, insert—
