An Act to amend the Traffic Act 1925

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Traffic Amendment (Fees) Act 1998 . 2CommencementThis Act commences on a day to be proclaimed. 3Principal ActIn this Act, the Traffic Act 1925 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Schedule 2 amended (Fees and Related Matters) Schedule 2 to the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by inserting in the heading to Part 3 "OTHER THAN LEARNER’S LICENCE" after "LICENCE"; (b) by inserting the following Part after Part 3 : PART 3AMaximum fee for issue of Learner's LicenceThe maximum fee payable for the issue of a learner’s licence is $25.
