AN ACT to amend section twenty-one of the Traffic

Act, 1919-1941.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. This Act may be cited as the Traffic Act Amend- Short titie.

went Act (No. 2) of 1946, and shall be read as one with the Traffic Act, 1919-1941 (No. 60 of 1919 as reprinted in the Appendix to the Sessional Volume of the Statutes of Western Australia for the year 1935 and amended by the Act No. 16 of 1941), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Section twenty-one of the principal Act is amended by inserting after subsection four thereof a new sub-

section to stand as subsection (4a) as follows:—

(4a) inserted.

" (4a) Every such member of the police force and every such inspector may exercise all such powers and shall perform all such duties as are vested or imposed in or upon him by this Act in respect of any road open to public traffic, notwithstanding • that such road may be on Government or private property."

The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Traffic Act, 1919-1946.
