AN ACT to amend the Traffic Act, 1919-1965.

[Assented to 12th December, 1966.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Traffic Act

and citation.

(2) In this Act the Traffic Act, 1919-1965, is

approved for

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Traffic Act, 1919-1966.

2. This Act shall operate and take effect and shall be deemed to have operated and to have had effect on and from the first day of July, nineteen hundred and sixty-six.

3. Section twenty-five C of the principal Act is amended by adding after subsection (3) a subsection as follows

(4) Notwithstanding the provisions of sub- section (2) of this section or any other provision of this Act, a half of the amount of the fees paid under paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of this section shall be paid into the Treasury, to the credit of the Consolidated Revenue Fund instead of into the Central Road Trust Fund established under this Act. .
