te The object of this Regulation is to amend the Motor Traffic Regulations 1935 to enable the following offences to be dealt with by penalty notice and to specify as the maximum penalties if they are so dealt with the amounts set out opposite the offences: Offences under regulation 118A of the Motor Traffic Regulations 1935 (relating to requirements for loads on motor vehicles and trailers to be safely

2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 24 July 1998.
3 Amendment of Motor Traffic Regulations 1935
The Motor Traffic Regulations 1935 are amended as set out in
Schedule 1.

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

[1] Schedule K Prescribed offences and penalties for the purposes of section 18B of the Act
Omit the matter relating to Regulation 118A (3) from Columns 1 and
2 of Table A to Part 2.
Insert instead:
