His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Traffic Act 1909.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to exempt eligible pensioners from the need
to pay a fee for the issue of a learner’s licence.

This Regulation is made section 3 (the general regulation-making power) of the Traffic Act 1909.

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Motor Traffic Amendment (Pensioner

Concession) Regulation 1996.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 16 September 1996.

  1. Amendment of Motor Traffic Regulations 1935

    The Motor Traffic Regulations 1935 are amended as set out in

    Schedule 1 .

4 Notes

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

(Clause 3)

Regulation 5 Payment of fees

Omit “(other than a learner’s licence)” from Regulation 5 (2) (d).
