Trading Hours (Amendment) Act 1977 (ACT)

AN ORDINANCE
To amend the Trading Hours Ordinance 1962.
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

TRADING HOURS (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 1977
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Trading Hours (Amend
ment) Ordinance 1977.*
2. In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Trading
Hours Ordinance 1962.f

3 . Section 4 of the Principal Ordinance is repealed.
4 . Section 5 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting
from sub-section (1) the definition of "exempt goods" and substituting
the following definition:—
" 'exempt goods ' means—
(a) goods specified in the Schedule; or
(b)
goods included in a class of goods specified in the Schedule;".

5 . The Schedule to the Principal Ordinance is repealed and the
following Schedule substituted:—
