AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Trading Hours Ordinance 1962-1968.

I THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth , of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of
Government (Administration) Act 1910-1970.

TRADING HOURS ORDINANCE 1971

1.—(1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Trading Hours

Ordinance 1971.*

(2.) The Trading Hours Ordinance 1962-1968,f as amended by

this Ordinance, may be cited as the Trading Hours Ordinance
1962-1971.

2. Section 7 of the Trading Hours Ordinance 1962-1968 is amended by inserting after sub-section (2.) the following sub­ section:—

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

" (2A.) Notwithstanding the last preceding sub-section, the sale of souvenirs, art works, post cards and stationery on a Sunday is not prohibited.".
