Name of Regulations
These Regulations are the Trade Practices Amendment Regulations 2008 (No. 1).

Commencement
These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

Amendment of Trade Practices Regulations 1974
Schedule 1 amends the Trade Practices Regulations 1974.

Application
(1)The amendment made by item [1] of Schedule 1 applies in relation to an additional notice given on or after the day these Regulations commence.
(2)In subregulation (1), additional notice has the same meaning as in paragraph (c) of the definition of additional notice in subregulation 28 (7) of the Trade Practices Regulations 1974.

When collective bargaining notice comes into force and ceases to be in force
For paragraph 93AD (1) (a) of the Act, for a collective bargaining notice given after the commencement of this regulation and before 1 January 2009, the period is 28 days.
