 These Regulations are the Trade Practices Amendment Regulations 2000 (No. 2).

2Commencement

 These Regulations commence on 1 July 2000.

3Amendment of Trade Practices Regulations 1974

Schedule 1 amends the Trade Practices Regulations 1974.

insert

28AAUnconscionable coduct in business transactions — prescribed amounts (Act s 51AC)

  • (1)

    For subsection 51AC (9) of the Act, the amount of $3 000 000.00 is prescribed.

  • (2)

    For subsection 51AC (10) of the Act, the amount of $3 000 000.00 is prescribed.
