This regulation may be cited as the Trade Measurement (Bread) Amendment Regulation 1992 . Amended regulations 2. The Trade Measurement (Bread) Regulations 1991 are amended as set out in this regulation.

2 Trade Measurement (Bread) Amendment Regulation 1992 References to a provision of the Act 3. If— (a) there is a reference in the Trade Measurement (Bread) Regulations 1991 to a provision of the TradeMeasurement(Bread) Act 1990 ; and (b) the words ‘ of the Act ’ , or words of similar effect, do not appear at the end of the reference; the Trade Measurement (Bread) Regulations 1991 are amended by inserting the words ‘ of the Act ’ at the end of the reference. Replacement of s.1 (Short title) 4. Section 1— omit, insert — ‘Short title ‘1. This regulation may be cited as the Trade Measurement (Bread) Regulation 1991 . ’. Omission of s.4 (Prescribed manner of marking of milk bread) 5. Section 4— omit . Amendment of s.5 (Prescribed manner of marking pre-packed loaf of bread) 6.(1) Section 5— after subsection (2)— insert — ‘(2A) Subsection (1)(f) does not apply to a prepacked loaf of bread packed for sale, for consumption or use and not for resale, on the premises on which it was packed. ’.

3 Trade Measurement (Bread) Amendment Regulation 1992 (2) Section 5(3)— after ‘ (1) ’ — insert ‘ (a) to (e) ’. (3) Section 5— after subsection (3)— insert — ‘(4) The markings required by subsection (1)(f) are prescribed in section 7(2) and (3). ’. Amendment of s.7 (Marking of name and address on package) 7. Section 7— after subsection (3)— insert — ‘(4) Subsections (1) to (3) do not apply to prepacked bread packed for sale, for consumption or use and not for resale, on the premises on which it was packed. ’.
