This regulation may be cited as the Trade Measurement Administration Amendment Regulation 1992 . Amended regulations 2. The Trade Measurement Administration Regulations 1991 are amended as set out in this regulation.

2 Trade Measurement Administration Amendment Regulation 1992 References to a provision of the Act 3. If— (a) there is a reference in the Trade Measurement Administration Regulations 1991 to a provision of the TradeMeasurementAdministration Act 1990 ; and (b) the words ‘ of the Act ’ , or words of similar effect, do not appear at the end of the reference; the Trade Measurement Administration Regulations 1991 are amended by inserting the words ‘ of the Act ’ at the end of the reference. Replacement of s.1 (Short title) 4. Section 1— omit, insert — ‘Short title ‘1. This regulation may be cited as the TradeMeasurementAdministration Regulation 1991 . ’. Amendment of s.4 (Interpretation) 5. Section 4(1)— insert — ‘ “Inspectors’ Class Two Standard” has the same meaning as in the National Measurement Act; “Inspectors’ Class Three Standard” has the same meaning as in the National Measurement Act; ’. Amendment of Schedule 1 (Trade measuring instruments verification and re-verification fees and charges) 6.(1) Schedule 1 (heading)— omit ‘AND RE-VERIFICATION’ , insert ‘, RE-VERIFICATION AND TESTING’.

Amendment of Schedule 2 (Calibration and verification fees for subsidiary standards of measurement and measuring instruments tested to special accuracies) 7.(1) Schedule 2 (heading)— after ‘CALIBRATION’ — insert ‘, TESTING’. (2) Schedule 2 (Part 1—Masses) (item 2)— after ‘ One ’ — insert ‘ , Class Two or Class Three ’. (3) Schedule 2 (Part 3—Measures Of Length) (item 1)— omit ‘ State Tertiary ’ , insert ‘ Inspectors’ Class One ’. (4) Schedule 2 (Part 3—Measures Of Length) (item 2)— omit ‘ verified to the requirements of ’ , insert ‘ tested to lesser accuracies than those required for State Secondary or ’. (5) Schedule 2 (Part 3—Measures Of Length) (item 3)— omit ‘ or State Tertiary ’ , insert ‘ , Inspectors’ Class One or Inspectors’ Class Two ’.
