REGULATIONS UNDER THE TRADE COMMISSIONERS ACT 1933-1936.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Trade Commissioners Act 1933-1936.

Amendments of the Trade Commissioners Regulations

Travelling allowance in Australia.

1. Regulation 6 of the Trade Commissioners Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (1) the words “Seventeen dollars sixty-five cents” and substituting the words “Nineteen dollars sixty-five cents”; and

(b) by omitting paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (1) and substituting the following paragraph:—

“(b) in any other case—at the rate of Twenty-eight dollars per day.”.

Application.

2. The rates specified in Regulation 6 of the Trade Commissioners Regulations as amended by these Regulations apply in relation to travelling allowance paid or payable to a Commissioner in respect of 2nd April, 1973, or any subsequent day.
