An Act to amend the Tractor Bounty Act 1939–1959.

[Assented to 18 May, 1966]

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—

Short title and citation.

1.—(1.) This Act may be cited as the Tractor Bounty Act 1966.

(2.) The Tractor Bounty Act 1939–1959 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

(3.) The Principal Act, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Tractor Bounty Act 1939–1966.

Commencement.

2. This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

Specification of bounty.

3. Section 6 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from sub-section (2.) the words “the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-six” and inserting in their stead

 

the words “the thirty-first day of December, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-six, or such earlier date as is fixed by Proclamation”.

Amendment of the Schedule in relation to decimal currency.

4. The Schedule to the Principal Act is amended by omitting the table and inserting in its stead the following table:—

5. The Principal Act is amended as set out in the Schedule to this Act.
