TOWNSVILLE CITY COUNCIL
v
VATSONIC COMMUNICATIONS PTY LTD & ORS
[2025] HCADisp 9
B58/2024
The applicant requires an extension of time within which to seek special leave to appeal from a judgment of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Queensland (Bowskill CJ, Boddice JA and Henry J agreeing) which upheld an appeal in part from the District Court of Queensland (Coker DCJ).
The proposed appeal does not raise any point of general principle and does not have sufficient prospects of success to warrant a grant of special leave to appeal. It would therefore be futile to grant an extension of time.
Special leave to appeal is refused with costs.
