An Act to abolish the Townsite of Greenbushes.

[Assented to 13th October, 1893.

HEREAS by an order of the Governor made under and by Preamble

WRegulations and notified in the Government Gazette' of the twelfthvirtue of the powers conferred upon him by the Land

day of September, One thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, it was declared that the Crown Land included within the area particu- larised in such order should form a townsite, to be known as

Greenbushes ' ; And whereas certain lots within such townsite have been reserved for certain purposes, and the streets, roads, and other public ways within such townsite, as delineated upon the plans thereof deposited in the Crown Lands Office, have been dedicated to the public use ; and whereas the land set apart for the said townsite is unsuitable for the purpose : Be it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows :—

and the townsite of Greenbushes thereby constituted is hereby abolished

1. The said recited order of the Governor is hereby revoked, Townsite

abolished, and shall no longer exist.

2. All lands forming such townsite, and all reservations made Lands of town-

therein, shall revert to and be deemed waste lands of the Crown for =Yatics°s1no all purposes, and all rights-of-way in and over the streets, roads, and Crown , andstreets to be

other public ways of the said townsite shall cease and determine.
