Town Planning (Buildings) Uniform General

Amendment By-laws 2012

1.             Citation

These by-lass are the Town Planning (Brriltlings) Unif vin
General Amendment By-laws 2012.

2.             Commencement

These by-laws come into Operation as follows

(a)	by-laws I and 2 — on the day on which these by-la•s are published in the Gazette (g azettaI t1aV);
(b)	the rest of the by-laws

(i) if azettal day is before the clay on v hicli the

Brri/ding Act 2011 section 157 comes into operation (conhinenceinent dry) — on

(ii) if gazettal day is. or is alter, commencement

day — on the day after gazettal day.

3.             By-Laws amended

These by-laws amend the Town Planning (Builtlings) Unifbrin

General By-laws 1989.

4.             By-law 3 amended

Delete by-law 3(1 }tb) and insert:

(b) the Building Regulations 2012,

5.              By-law 4 .amended

Delete by-la  w 4(2) and insert:

(2) These by-laws do not apply to a building or incidental

structure if a building permit is not required lt^r
building work in respect of the building or incidental
structure under tile Building Ac! 2 011 Part 5 or
regulations or an order made under Part 5 Division I of

that Act.
