AN ACT to amend the Town Planning and

Development Act 1928.

[Assented to 25 March 1985.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Town Planning Short title.

(a) is ill or absent; or

(b)

disqualifies himself in respect of a particular appeal by reason of the possibility of a conflict of interest,

the Minister may appoint a person who has the same qualification for appointment as is required of the Chairman or that member to act in his stead during the illness, absence or in the particular appeal as the case may be and for such further time as is necessary to complete the hearing and determination of any proceedings that he has entered upon and the person so appointed shall while so acting have all the powers and perform all the duties of the Chairman or member in whose stead he is acting. ".
